*[[Luk 18:1]] KJV* And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
We faint quite easily when we lack stamina or endurance in a certain task. For example when we run on a treadmill we might tire out easily in the first few days. This is because we are not used to the rigors of the activity. Similarly what happens in the Body is a reflection of the Spirit. Do we faint quickly in prayer , do we lack endurance in Bible reading? The trials we are about to face are not going to be easy .
*[[Jer 12:5]] KJV* If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
The only way we can run with the horses is by the Holy Spirit…
*[[Act 8:29]] KJV* Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot…
*[[1Ki 18:46]] KJV* And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab(who was on his chariot) to the entrance of Jezreel.
So fear not !! *[[Hab 3:19]] KJV* The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
*[[Psa 18:29]] KJV* For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
*[[Isa 40:31]] KJV* But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Therefore, truth be told Stamina or Endurance is not of us but from the Lord alone.
*[[Heb 12:3]] KJV* For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
